“Each piece is crafted to address continual and evolving ideas of structure, environment and society. These ideas are ephemeral; from a memory and personal experience. Each evokes a particular color, smell, sentiment and architecture; of women, nature, empowerment, romance and histories.

I use geometries to emphasize a particular kind of control and restraint, to give this dreamlike quality a shape and form. The materials, techniques and their myriad assemblages render me at a momentary loss of identity and control. In time, the epiphany of play reveals itself and harmony is attained among the chosen materials.

The exploration of this fragile ferocity manifests in a kind of aesthetic eroticism. A necklace – gracing the lines of the neck. The adornment is fierce, playful and an unapologetic sensual urban armor.”

Founder and Creative Director Anupama Sukh Lalvani is a trained architect and yogini.
Currently residing in Phuket, she has previously lived in Tehran, Lagos, London, New York, Geneva and New Delhi. Her nomadic existence finds root in family and creation. She founded en Inde in 2004, having since evolved into an artisanal jewelry and lifestyle brand.
